Formula for Our Family Future: The Road to Healthville

The official unveiling and recognition of the MyPyramid Corporate Challenge was held on June 10 at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC.

Press Event 10:30am - 11:00am
Expo, Interviews, and Activities 11:00am - 1:00pm

The Road to Healthville touches our lives in four important areas: Where we Purchase Food, where we Prepare Food, and where we Work and Play.

This multi-media event featured dozens of some of the Nation’s leading corporations stepping forward to help stem the tide of overweight and obesity among America’s young people with specific new, out-of-the-box initiatives. The program was hosted by CNPP Executive Director Dr. Brian Wansink.

Assistant Secretary of Agriculture Chuck Conner, along with Under Secretary Nancy Johner, addressed the meeting highlighting the corporate products and initiatives.

Interviews with government and corporate officials were available following the presentations.
